Tattoos, almost permanent ink on someone's body in the form of script or design. In other words, a super awesome, sexy way to express yourself.
I am a lover of tattoos. Ink me up, it's addicting! Tattoos are a form of art we display and our bodies are the canvas. Unfortunately, they can cost some money so you can't always go crazy like you would like or have to postpone getting one. Once that money is in your hand though you better believe your next idea is already drawn out and ready. Choosing what you want is a very important part. No one should just rush in and be too impulsive. I suggest you should be ok with your idea for at least 3 months before investing in a big idea and regretting it later. Nobody wants to pay even more money to try and remove their ink. There are a lot people out there who diss us, the ink addicts. They say we'll regret our tattoos later in life, when we're old. Where are your tattoos located? Imagine yourself old and think if your tattoos will really bother you at 80. I don't plan on wearing crop tops to show off my side tattoos then, so if they look silly, alright. So if you don't have a tattoo and are considering one, here are some things to know before you go get one, because you know you want one! 1. Consider the placement. Unfortunately, some jobs still don't allow tattoos. So if that is possibly a factor, find places on your body you can easily cover up. If you don't care, just pick. Find the perfect place you want to show off your art and settle on it. 2. Deciding what you want. This decision is huge. You don't want to decide on something too fast and regret it in the long run. Is it just an awesome piece? Is it to commemorate someone? Sit on it for at least 3 months to see how you feel. If you find yourself fading from the idea, don't get it. You need to love your decision before you commit. 3. Can you afford it? Make sure you have the money for it, tattoos are usually not too cheap and if they are, you may not want to trust them. Go check out some places and get a price for what you want. 4. Don't go too big on the first one. You shouldn't go for a big piece on your first try. Baby steps are the best way to start out. 5. It doesn't hurt too bad to get one. Yes, tattoos hurt, but do they really hurt that much? I don't know one person that thought their tattoo was terribly painful. While you're getting it, you are pretty excited for the finishing product. It's not bad at all to sit through one. Although, some spots are worse so make sure if you don't like pain, you research. 6. It's so worth it. Once it's done and you take good care of it, you'll be in love. This is where the addiction may begin. This new conversation piece, fashion statement, ink art, or memorial is part of your life now. Show it off and love your tattoo! Now go get started on that ink!

Everyone says how they don't care what people think of them, and some people actually don't. I congratulate those people. It is hard to be those people who truly never care.
It's part of human nature for us to care at some point what certain people think of is. With jobs, we always want those who are hiring us to like us. I'm willing to be a little different for a job. It's not as easy not to care. I for one, really want to be one of those people who don't give a f*ck what anyone out there thinks. I'd love to literally not care what anyone thinks of me. Sounds awesome! Although, I care time to time what others think of me. This why I, and others, should not give a f*ck what anyone thinks. 1. You can go in public looking how you want. Personally, I love putting myself together before leaving the house most days, but that's for me. If you never care what you look like, you shouldn't have to care what others will say about you. 2. You can say "f*ck you" to all. You're not afraid of being judged for any reason. Someone thinks you're a bitch? F*ck you! They can say all they want but it doesn't even phase you. 3. Most opinions don't matter. Aside from maybe getting a job or house you want, why do others opinions matter? They shouldn't. It'd be cool to not care about anyone's opinion, but I'm not there yet. 4. You won't have fake friends. For the most part. If you are you, and don't pretend to be anyone else, then you'll know people are in your life because they want to be. 5. You'll feel better in general. No one wants to pretend to be serious all the time or proper. Be you and you'll feel happier than you would otherwise. 6. You have less worries. You usually worry and think about things a lot more whens someone has something negative to say about you and it matters. Not caring about what they say or think will give you more peace and less to dwell on. Giving up has always been a sign of weakness, right? The last thing anyone wants to be is weak. Therefore, we should never give up on what makes us happy and what we want out of life.
When you want something in your life so badly, you will do anything and everything you can to get it, then hold onto it for as long as it is possible. Although, you can't always hold on to everything, unfortunately. Even if what we want gets taken away from us, time after time of regaining it, we still refuse to give up. We can lose something a hundred times, but wanting it badly enough, we will try and try again until it's in our reach again. Then, what if our want becomes wants, and there are several things we are striving for? What if our wants coincide with each other, and it's physically impossible to have all our wants right now? We may be selfish beings, but we do realize when it's time to stop. You can never have everything you want at once. Our wants must come in singles, and we can only be granted one at a time. Though, if we hold onto that first want, we can strive for the next want and end up having two things we want. No, you do not get everything you want in life, but why can't you have it all? I may want love, my own place, the perfect job, and a puppy all right now, but we know that life doesn't work quite like that. If I can have one of those things and be working on the next, then I am set in life. I have accomplished one of my wants, and will strive to achieve the next one, while holding on to what I currently have. I am someone, though, who is not ok with losing what I have. So we will fight for what we want, it's what we've done and what we'll always do. We'll be stubborn to hell and back, until what we want is ours. Like I said, everything doesn't flow in at once. Eventually, you will get what you want, and even along the way, change what we want. Sometimes, changing what we want or putting it off for a bigger want, is what we must do. BUT, never give up on your wants. You can always find a way to get them sometime, but maybe now is not the time. So keep the wants you have and cherish them, whether it be a great job, a relationship, or your little apartment you love so much. Giving up your dreams is just silly. With this said, never give up, and hold on to what you have. For all the How I Met Your Mother fans out there, you already know what I'm talking about. For the unfortunate souls who haven't watched this wonderful show, I'll explain it to you. The front porch test is a method the character Lily uses to determine whether or not her friend Ted should or should not be with a girl he is dating forever. How the front porch test is performed: You imagine yourself old, on a front porch, sipping tea and playing bridge (or a card game you actually understand, HIMYM fans, rightttt?) You imagine yourself there with the person you're dating, for Lily and husband Marshall, you imagine your friend and their lover with the two of you. To pass the test, the person must be someone you can imagine there and be happy with. My theory, you can use the front porch test on most of your friendships and relationships. Can you see this person being your friend, chillin on the front porch sipping wine? Do you see your current partner old with you, holding hands on a porch swing watching the sunset? This test is guaranteed to work. Here is why this test is really perfect. You're looking into the future. This test forces you to take a look into the future. That is a big way to determine whether or not someone will always be in your life. If you can see them in your future, they pass the test. You're thinking more seriously. Along with looking into the future, you are figuring out if you care enough to have this person there when you're old and gray. This will determine the seriousness of your current relationship. You don't have to end it, but if you're looking for only people who pass the test, there you go. You know where you stand. Testing the front porch theory, you will see where you are at in your life and with your relationships with people. You'll be able to tell if you're ready to settle down or if you just want to have fun still. The test will help you understand if you want to settle yet, or if you're still down to get around. You know if someone is right or not for you. This test can help you figure out if you've been dating the wrong person this whole time. If you can't see them on that imaginary front porch with you, maybe you shouldn't be with this person. Having your friends test it out is also a good way to double check. If they also can't see this person on this front porch, then it must be time to move on and find your old mate. I stand behind this theory. HIMYM has taught me a lot, and the front porch test is definitely something I can get behind. What's the harm, give it a try. I doubt this is news to anyone, but where the hell did everyone's morality and respect go?! I feel like as time goes on, our generations continue to get worse and develop these awful habits. The terrible part is, everyone thinks what they do is ok!
Everyone makes mistakes, but some people have adapted to this "I don't give a f*ck about you and your relationship" type of life. How can you live with that life? I will never understand. I've watched many girls and guys have no self respect for themselves - and definitely no respect for a relationship - and blatantly hit on someone while their significant other is right there. Where is your dignity, for one? Two, do you really think anyone will respect you for hitting on them while the person they actually care for is right beside them? I have, too, experienced this first hand. Women thinking it's ok to get a little flirty while I'm standing right there, or knowing that my boyfriend is taken. Come on. Also, if a guy is coming after me, why would I not tell him? This is the game that some people love to play. They've played so much, they don't always see it as a game anymore, but as a habit. Unfortunately, it's still a game to those pathetic beings out there. As our generation is getting older, we are picking up these disgusting habits, as is the generation below us because we make it seem ok. Well it's not. This is how you uncaring, disrespectful, beings look to someone who has dignity. Pathetic. Really, you can't already tell? That guy has a girlfriend and you just walked up to him and started talking to and touching him. Do you not think you look like a slut? Or are you just that relentless? Probably relentless. Look at yourself. Like a whore. Exactly. If you even wanted a chance with that person, you lost it. They think you just want in their pants for the night. If you do, then I guess pry away, it's a lost cause anyway. You've also now gained a great rep! Desperate. Are you really that desperate that you can't find someone who is single? Don't even try that "there's nobody out there" sh*t. Going after taken people makes you look desperate, therefore pathetic too. Careless. No, not carefree, CARELESS. You don't give a f*ck about this person you find attractive's relationship, so why should they think you care about anything. You don't care about either parties' feelings, it's just all about you. So you are also.. Selfish. You want this person regardless of their status. It's not about what they want, you are looking to please yourself only. I'm sorry, can you say pathetic again? Like you're lacking self-esteem. I may not have great self-esteem, but this act is showing you are a zero on that scale, and there's no chance of finding any buried within. Purposely going after this person is showing them that you have nothing to lose and don't think highly what-so-ever of yourself. Be classy. Cocky. You must think you have a chance if you even try. Some people may like that cockiness you have that you are so much better than the one they're with. For me, that's utterly unappealing and you can shove your cockiness up your a**. Like you're a f*cking child. I obviously have no respect for these people. Grow up and find someone for you the old fashioned way. Is it even old fashioned to talk to someone single? Gain some respect, for yourself and others, and stop these habits from spreading. |
