"Let us not wallow in the valley of despair"
-Martin Luther King Jr. I have a dream, that this day that we celebrate a brave and bold leader, will come to be more important and more inspiring with years to come. That we can strive for the freedom and equality that this nation deserves. Over 51 years ago, Martin Luther King Jr. gave his famous "I Have a Dream" speech. This speech is how many remember him. As many see him as an activist for African-American equality, which he mainly was, he was overall trying to bring everyone; color, sex, whatever, to live as one family. My dream, is to live in a world without hate and discrimination. Where the color and ethnicity of someone is not a factor and everyone lives as one. Where there is equality among the sexes, where a man and woman are equals, not one inferior nor superior to the other. The sexual orientation of a person doesn't matter, and who cares which class you are a part of, rich or poor. I have a vision, of a world of equals, where you are no better than someone else. The world is in need of a change, still, and you should do your part in any little way you can. Befriend others, without a thought of how they may be different. Learn to love, not to hate. I, too, have a dream, where the world is a happier, more peaceful place. Where you will give everyone a chance, to be a part of our world-wide family. Make the change!
