There are no good break ups. Someone always ends up hurt over it, everyones not "fine" with it. Following a break up, comes the moving on period.
Everyone has their own way of dealing with a break up and learning to move past it. Typically though, guys deal one way, girls another. As a girl, I have noticed that many girls seem to have the same thought process after a break up. So before another guy calls you a crazy psycho stalking raging bitch whore, remember, you might be one of those. Then again you could just be moving on like the rest us. Here you go, 26 typical thoughts that go through a girls mind after a break up. 1. I'll bombard him with texts and calls, he'll answer soon. 2. He will answer after the 20th call and 37th text, right? 3. I know, I'll text his friends! 4. They like me, one of them will help. They will. 5. Hmm maybe I should stop? 6. Ok, don't wanna seem like a stalker bitch. I'll give him some time. Douchebag. 7. Shit, it's over. 8. Oh my God, I'm gonna cry. I promised I wouldn't waste my tears on him. 9. Ahhhh. I hate him so much. 10. It really is over. What now? I have to tell somebody. I'll text all my friends and see what I should do. 11. Hmm there's more fish in the sea, you'll get over him eventually. Thanks bitches. 12. F*ck it. I'm going to eat this whole pizza, this tub of ice cream, these pickles sound good too, hell I don't care anymore. I'm eating it all! 13. Oh there's wine and liquor. Yeah that too. 14. I'll just watch a movie to get mind off of it. 15. My life is so like the Notebook. We'll be back together in no time. Movies are totally real life. 16. This will all be ok. We could get back together. 17. Then again, there are some sexy guys I could totally hook up with. 18. Alright, time to check out Facebook and Twitter. 19. I know. I'll post a status so everyone knows I'm upset and single. 20. Wait. Who's this bitch talking to my man? Who does she think she is? I better tell him I see what he's doing. 21. Huh, he doesn't care. Cooooool. 22. Whatever, I'll post a sexy selfie, then he'll be jealous. 23. Maybe this isn't as sexy as I thought, damn. 24. He didn't even like it, he's definitely seen it by now! 25. That bastard. I am done! 26. Oh look he texted me, guess he couldn't resist.

"Let us not wallow in the valley of despair"
-Martin Luther King Jr. I have a dream, that this day that we celebrate a brave and bold leader, will come to be more important and more inspiring with years to come. That we can strive for the freedom and equality that this nation deserves. Over 51 years ago, Martin Luther King Jr. gave his famous "I Have a Dream" speech. This speech is how many remember him. As many see him as an activist for African-American equality, which he mainly was, he was overall trying to bring everyone; color, sex, whatever, to live as one family. My dream, is to live in a world without hate and discrimination. Where the color and ethnicity of someone is not a factor and everyone lives as one. Where there is equality among the sexes, where a man and woman are equals, not one inferior nor superior to the other. The sexual orientation of a person doesn't matter, and who cares which class you are a part of, rich or poor. I have a vision, of a world of equals, where you are no better than someone else. The world is in need of a change, still, and you should do your part in any little way you can. Befriend others, without a thought of how they may be different. Learn to love, not to hate. I, too, have a dream, where the world is a happier, more peaceful place. Where you will give everyone a chance, to be a part of our world-wide family. Make the change! Serenity, when you're calm, relaxed, and in a state of comfort and peace. Who doesn't love this? Then again, in times of trouble or anger, it can be hard to find your serenity when you need it the most. The last thing you think of when you're upset is what brings you peace.
Think of when you're most calm, at peace. Make a list of things that keep you tranquil and have it handy text time you are disturbed, so you know the right remedy to bring you back. Here are some ideas, in case you are at a loss, to what helps me or others in these times. Get comfortable
Set the mood
Music or a Movie
Substance therapy
Work out
Driving
Being alone
Sit back, relax, and find your inner peace. Graduating from high school is an exciting and scary experience. Most people are happy to be done and can't wait to move on with their lives, others are celebrating and preparing themselves to go off to college.
No matter what your plans are for after high school, one thing is guaranteed; things are going to change. People move on, people grow up, people change; life as you knew it in high school is different. You have to adapt to the changes and realize this is life now, this is how it's gonna be. Now almost five years after graduating, I've seen how many things can change and how many things can stay the same. Here are some things I've noticed after leaving my high school. 1. There are two types of people;
2. You find out who your friends are - Graduating is the real test of friendship. One of your friends will most likely move far enough away that it will test your true friendship. If you're lucky, you'll stay in contact and your friendship will never change. The reality is some friends will move away and change. You just have to come to terms with the fact that that part of your life has changed. 3. You change - Not only do your looks change, but your personality changes slightly. Within these years, you hopefully grow up, realize you need to make some healthy changes for yourself, and make yourself a better person. The important part is to make positive, not negative changes. 4. You become more experimental and carefree - In high school, most people do care what other people think. After, you seem to not give a shit what anyone thinks. You wear what you want without being afraid of judgment. You let go and be yourself. You try new things, this is the time for you to experiment and make mistakes. Whatever you do, make it fun and worth it. No regrets. You can probably think of many more things that change after high school for you. Just be prepared for change and embrace it! Communication is the key to a good relationship, right? That's what they say, and I must agree. If you don't have good communication between you and your partner, it gets messy. Someone is putting in more effort than the other, or the communication is just so messed up that neither of you know if you're on the same page or not.
Yes, communication is a must. Where we get confused in this day and age is technology. We almost always have our phones by our side, so why isn't our love interest answering? When it comes to relationships, you need to know your partner. Are they not answering because they're busy? Or ignoring you? Or just have nothing to respond with? If you know this person well enough, you should be able to tell if you're making a big deal out of nothing. Here are some steps to take before you flip out for no reason. (If you're a side ho or bro, do you really need this question answered? No, this is for relationships) Do you know your lover? - You shouldn't even be worrying over this unless this is a relationship. Think about who your partner is. When you two are hanging out, are they a talker or a listener? Maybe they're both. But importantly, who talks the most when the two of you are together? Now, based on your best judgement; You're the talker:
You're the listener:
It's all about knowing your partner. If you know your relationship is solid, don't fret over unanswered texts. Yes, you will every so often. But think about it next time you do, there may be a legit reason you aren't hearing back from them. |
